Breathing Post, 2004 2' deep, 7' wide, 14' high Galvanized steel, steel, stainless steel, paint, bearings, chain. This kinetic sculpture is run by a turncrank at its base. As the crank is turned the horizontal arms above rise and fall, like breathing lungs, or flying wings. Breathing Post has been installed in downtown Lake Oswego,OR since 2004. |
