  • Design collaboration on “windscape” park in Portland, OR, under construction.
2001-04 Parallel Development Inc., Brooklyn, NY
  • Collaborative design, engineering, project management and fabrication of artwork, architectural fixtures and products. Projects include Janet Zwieg’s "Small Kindness, Weather Permitting" public art project in Minneapolis, MN.
2003 Arthur Ganson, artist, Boston, MA
  • Contract fabrication of artwork.
2001 Portland Development Commission, Portland, OR
  • Consulting artist on collaborative design team with ZGF Architects and artist Tad Savinar for urban streetscape redesign. Project placed on hold due to PDC funding.
1994-00 Michael Curry Design, St. Helens, OR
  • Head of structural and mechanical department 1995-1998, contract designer 1998-2000.
  • Design, engineering, fabrication, project management, and installation of giant puppets and mechanical costumes. Projects included works for the 1996 Olympics opening ceremony, stage shows in Las Vegas, and a permanent installation in an Atlanta Museum. For Disney we built long-term pieces in the Florida and California theme parks, on the cruise lines, and for the Lion King on Broadway. In 1999 I designed the infrastructure and mechanics for a 17' animated head, permanently installed in Tokyo Disney.
